All new continuing or former students who do not have test scores on file are required to go through the assessment process. In room W251, prospective students take the COMPASS College Placement Test to determine the level at which they should begin their studies at the college. The test assesses student  skills in reading, writing, and mathematics. College and Faculty Advisors consider  test results, career interests, and previous academic experience when advising prospective students about programs.
