Message from the President
We are happy to announce that our move to the beautiful new Kennedy-King College Campus at 6301 South Halsted is complete. Summer classes are now in session at the new address. You may already be aware that there were some necessary, temporary inconveniences associated with the move. Many of the phone numbers published for College departments were down for a while during the transition. Although every effort was made to make sure that there was at least one phone number going into essential student service and administrative service offices, we realize that you may still have encountered difficulty reaching us. We sincerely apologize and are pleased to announce to you that practically all phone extensions are now operational. Email communication is also fully operational. If you have problems reaching a particular department, call the main switchboard at 773-602-5000. For admissions information, call 773-602-5111.
The Center for Distance Learning (CDL), which offers teleweb and Internet courses through all seven City Colleges of Chicago, has relocated to the new Kennedy-King campus in Building W. You may still reach the CDL by phone at 312-553-5975.
Washburne Culinary Institute and WYCC is housed at the new campus. You may still reach both Washburne and WYCC at listed numbers. The phone numbers have not changed. WKKC staff and operations have moved to the new campus. The station can be reached at 773-602-5131.
