Microsoft Office Specialist Training
This program was designed to prepare students for jobs in computer
technology and administration. Upon successful completion of the
course assignments students were able to take the MOS exam and
become certified as as Microsoft Office Specialist. Three-month
training. Delivered at Chicago Connections site.

Unarmed State Security
Certification Training
Students learned basic fundamentals of security officer training and
customer service behaviors as well as rules and regulations
associated with the State of Illinois. Two week training session.
Delivered at Dawson Technical Institute.
Housing
Authority of the County of Cook
Phlebotomy Training
Students were trained on how to obtain blood specimens by
venipuncture techniques in addition to technical clerical and
interpersonal skills. Four-month training and 120 Clinical Hours.
Delivered at Housing Authority site.
Basic Nursing
Assistant Training
Students were familiarized with the basic concepts and interventions
required for the care of all ill patients. Eight-week training and
40 clinical hours. Delivered at Housing Authority site.
Medical
Terminology
Students were introduced to basic word structure and pronunciation
of medical terms.
One-month training. Delivered at Housing Authority site.
