The Kennedy-King College Associate Degree Nursing Program has a reputation for competence and excellence The Nursing Program offers an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Nursing.

It is a fulltime program that is approved by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulations (IDPR), 100 West Randolph, 9th Floor, Chicago, IL 60601, (312) 814 2715; and is accredited by the
National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, 61 Broadway, New York, N.Y., 10006, (212) 363 5555 ext: 153, www nlnac.org.

The nursing curriculum includes the study of nursing theory and actual care of patients in the hospital and clinical settings. Clinical experience in Chicago area hospitals and clinics is appropriately integrated with course work. As a result, students are well prepared to pass the Registered Nurse (NCLEX RN) licensure examination.

Learn the procedures for installing and testing digital and analog cable TV

These two comprehensive courses provides trainees with all the necessary knowledge, skill and practical experience to become a professional service technician.

Cable 1 Course: Installation, Safety, Tools & Equipment

Cable 2 Course: Drop Equipment,  Customer Premises & Services, 
Troubleshooting & Repair

Who should attend?
Those seeking to work in the installation of cable TV or seeking new career opportunities.

Pre-requisites
No previous experience required. Course Duration

Three (3) weeks each. Course Objective

Trainees will gain knowledge, skills and practical experience to install, maintain and test CATV.

No previous experience is required to attend. Upon Successful completion of both course, trainees will have the knowledge, skill and practical experience to immediately begin a career in the installation and maintenance of any basic CATV install. Classes begin June 7, 2003.

Student Fees
20 hours course ($40 an hour)
3 weeks (400 minutes per week)

Total Class Cost
$800.00 Each
One third down to start ($267.00)

Bank Teller Training Program: The New Recruitment Source
 

The Program

Created in response to the labor market shortage of entry level workers in the banking industry, the City Colleges of Chicago Bank Teller Training Program is
a Business & Industry service customized for financial institutions.

The Program prepares individuals through
a comprehensive 13 week training program containing
curriculum designed in collaboration with our industry partners. Participants making the transition from
education to careers through this Program must have a high school diploma or GED, pass math and reading competency tests and complete interviews with bank executives.

Since the Bank Teller Training Program's inception, banking industry participation has increased dramatically.
