Veterans' Information
Veterans who qualify for the GI Bill have ten (10) years from their
date of separation from the armed services to apply for and receive a
monthly allotment for educational study. Those who entered the Armed
Forces after January 1, 1977 qualify for monthly payments only if they
elected to participate in the Veterans Education Assistance Program
option. Under certain conditions, the Veterans Administration also
provides educational benefits for dependents of veterans. For
