What is Enhanced Membership?
Enhanced Membership is a program that encourages and rewards student member participation in chapter activities. This program provides chapters the opportunity to extend invitations of membership to deserving community college students based on scholastic achievement rather than participation in chapter activities. At the same time, the program provides special incentives for students to participate in the may programming opportunities provided by Phi Theta Kappa. What are the participation requirements for Enhanced Membership?
Enhanced members commit to participating in at least four Phi Theta Kappa sponsored activities that promote our four hallmarks (leadership, scholarship, fellowship and service). Each individual member makes his or her activity choices. Members are asked to track their progress and submit an activity report so they can be recognized at the spring Induction Ceremony. Note: Standard membership still entitles members to all of the benefits from the International Headquarters, but by accepting Enhanced Membership you can enjoy all of the benefits of being an active member of the Phi Theta Kappa Chapter.
